“The ‘Show-Me’ state, right? Why do they call it the “Show-Me” state. It’s American. It is American. 100 percent… What about you? Where are you from?”
“Colorado”
“That’s what I’m talking about. It’s American… Who is this guy hiding over here?... What’s your deal? Where are you from?... You open your mouth and tell me where you’re from… Just make sure it’s clear fucking English… Where are you from?”
“I’m from… I’m from Hong Kong.”

I am afraid of a “Free America”.
The idea of a “Free America” – those that hold the most power are able to create as they so Desire… a “Free America” wherein – the politicians, radicals, racists, moneymakers, money-takers, elites – get to create the worthiness of our Landscape (vs. Nation – a highly contested colonial label) and the worthiness of its people.
A “Free America” reverts to culling the unwanted – immigrants, disabled, homeless – the weak One’s – labeled low-life ‘leeches’ of the system – yet, only defined this way due to the hierarchical ideals ingrained within the Colonial-Imperial-System that founded our ‘Nation’.
A “Free America” is crafted by the hands of those ‘enlightened’ by a righteous power status deciding what values the world should be performing to manufacturing a ‘right society’. Full of the valor found in Perfectionism, Capital Gain, Viral Fame. Depreciating the value of Humankinds Nature-Multiplexity of race, gender, religion, spirituality, body - including the simplicities of other’s values, opinions, dreams… As a ‘Nation’ - we are all victims of the Power-Players. Pushing a concentric ‘white rhetoric’ for a feeling of ‘safety’ within their community (HOA’s and Gated Communities). We neutralize this idea, as the news flourishes us for comfort in the socio-politically based need to find the root-cause for all our socio-systemic based problems… then push all the Blame to one side…
“There has to be someone to Blame for my problems”
A “Free America” is played out by both extremes of the left- and right-wing. Both sides unwilling to understand One other. Both labeled as enemies, both acting as victims.
The right – willfully excusing the violence of our ‘Nation’ for the significance of our (so called) “America” to be the Prime-Example-Leading-Nation on Earth, aiming to eradicate all who disagree with their ‘Leader in Chief’. Enforcing Personal Policies on the Pedestal of ‘Righteous Fortune’. That this ‘One Person’ up there – on the throne – has all the solutions.
Throne Room Superiority
The Left – perpetuating a ‘goodness’ culture – acting in ignorance for a faithful future - attempting to ‘One Up’ one-another for the Care Race (vs. Arms Race). Displaced in desiring to be the ‘Singular Hero in the Face of Colonial Freedom’. In essence : Proving to your community that you are the Ideal Standard Human for a Global Healing Practice – that aims to empower the White Savior Complex.
Gold Star Tactics
By combatting communities upon one another, we persist on perpetuating a level of violence that each ‘wing’ intends for the other. Both extremes desire for a nation-wide ‘righteousness’ that’s deemed suitable for their own community… yet both are secured in wishful thinking -
“I know what is right”.
In a “Free America” – it is imagined that all people are free to violate without consequence. Culling the ‘other side’ for profit towards [my group] being more powerful.
In a “Free America” there is no accountability for One’s actions – as long as we are surrounding ourselves with like-minded, like-valued individuals that feed the same-raged-flame of our community. This is unhealthy community building. Where-in – we feed the violence of our community – praising the inherent acts of violence for ‘the greater good’.
In this “Free America” – we are truly divided. All borders up – no lines crossed – ‘You don’t Belong Here’ as anyone can decide – readily available to declare on behalf of providence for destructive resolutions. The middle ground – the bridge between people – gifting space for neutral (natural) recognition (even to the basics of respect) – dissipates from the Heart – and we are entranced by trigger fingers pull – an easy end to discourse. The remaining silent air suffocates in rage towards One another. Firing trivialities of self-determined-culture to ‘the other’ – where acts of reverence turn inwards on itself to become an act of destroying the ‘other side’. Weaponized Care
“I know what’s best”
In a “Free America” there is only The Righteous. As either ‘party’ hints towards their own ruling of “We hold these truths to be self-evident” – applicable only for their own truth. A truth founded in clearing out the unaccepted/imperfect (immigrants, disabled, homeless/Rebels, Activists, Freedom Fighters) losing the intrinsic values that each individual upholds into diversifying our culture – diversity of which this ‘Nation’ was founded upon. By culling out the undesirables – we lose the connective spirit that could and should bring us together within Humanistic Diversity.
There is a calling to return to the Landscape : the great holder of all extremes – in grace, valor, and consistent gifting – every season, every moment breaching eternal splendor that is the consistency in creation - To Re-Matriate with the Landscape Language to a Living Language to an Enacted Language known only by you and this connect… To Quote the Author (also quoting

We – as people – need to lose our identity to a ‘national ideology’ and return to the metaphorical (yet not so metaphorical) sense of ‘a living landscape of all people’ – where-in : all those HERE do possess value, labor, intention of ‘The World we Walk On’ for those ‘We Walk With’ into the larger community of our Own creation. Separate from the colonial ideals that placate us on our day to day burdens. Separate from the ‘viral seeking loudness’ that is starting to deem our Humanistic worthiness. Separate from the powers that deem others ‘hateful, useless, unworthy’. A realization that : each person – right here, right now – living in front of you – working with you, alongside you - in order to just be alive in this world – holds all the intrinsic building blocks from their own capacity for a Holistic, Nurturing community.
It's a difficult task to see how these raging oppositions can become a connective symbology for One Another – as we are so divided in culture/race/beliefs – that many of us are so identified in. It is a difficult task to be a living example of accepting Diversity when this ‘Nation’ seems to continually revel in the opposition of remaining divided. We are lost looking to our brothers and sisters to leadership, instead of creating with our brothers and sisters for No Leadership.
If we call back into the groundwork of what is required of Us in our own times of need – it may be enacting a capacity to care for self – in order to have a larger capacity of care for others. (Ie: You cannot cull a world’s violence with your own unregistered Violent Interior…fire feeding fire…) You have to be willing to see the atrocities of the world – veiled by your own experience – then, can One begin to understand the purpose of - where, when, and How you are to ‘Be that Care’ which is carefully curated by your own knowing. As Ghandi stated: “Be the change you wish to see in the world”
As I will state: “Be the Care you wish to see in the world”
As I will further state “You do not need to ‘see’ the changes in order to ‘Be’ the changes”
Common ground is an intense rarity for all of us.
May we be grounded in the connection of ‘Change’.
